Systems Integration & Automation
We connect systems, services and workflows to eliminate operational fragmentation.
What this discipline addresses.
When systems are not connected, staff carry data between them by hand: re-entering, reconciling and following up. We replace that work with integrations designed to handle failure, because every external service eventually fails.
- Staff re-enter the same data into two or more systems.
- Payments arrive, but matching them to invoices is manual.
- A failed callback leaves a customer charged and an account unpaid.
- Approvals move by email and stall without visibility.
- Vendors each hold a piece of the data and none has the full picture.
What we deliver.
- API development and integration
- Payment gateway integration
- Mobile money integration
- Enterprise application integration
- Data exchange and interoperability
- Business process automation
- Third-party platform integration
How we do it.
-
Define the contract
We specify each interface: payloads, error states, timeouts and who is responsible for what.
-
Design for failure
Retries, idempotency and queues mean a timeout never becomes a duplicate payment.
-
Reconcile
Every integration that moves money or records has a way to prove both sides agree.
-
Monitor
Failed messages are logged and visible, so your team identifies problems before your customers do.
Where we usually start.
- Collecting M-Pesa payments and posting them to the correct account automatically.
- Connecting a point-of-sale system to back-office stock and accounts.
- Replacing an emailed approval chain with a tracked workflow.
Frequently asked.
Do you handle M-Pesa integration?
Yes. Mobile money integration is part of our delivery work, including callback handling and reconciliation. You will need your own business account and credentials with the provider.
What happens when a third-party API goes down?
The integration should queue the work and retry safely. We design for that from the start and make the backlog visible to your team.
Can you integrate with a system that has no API?
Often, through database access, file exchange or a small adapter. We assess what is possible and the risks of each route first.
Discuss your systems integration requirement.
Describe the requirement and the constraints you are working within. We will assess it and advise candidly on whether and how we can help.
